Your Privacy.

This site is run by me, Aaron Fisher, for my coaching work as The Awakening Self. I keep this page short and plain, because you should be able to tell in a minute what happens to your details. There is no advertising tracking on this site, no mailing list, and nothing is sold to anybody.
What I collect, and only when you give it
Nothing is collected just for visiting. You can read every page without giving me anything.
If you enter your details on this site, I receive:
- Your first name and email address, from the form on the home page or at the end of the quiz.
- Your quiz answers and result, if you took the quiz. That is the pattern you came out as and which options you chose.
- How you arrived, meaning the campaign tag on the link you clicked and the site you came from, if any. This tells me whether an Instagram post is actually reaching people. It does not identify you.
If you go on to the application form, you also give me your answers to the questions I ask there. Those are often personal. I treat them that way.
What I do with it
I read it, and I may reply to you by email. That is the whole purpose.
If you take the quiz, one email is sent to you automatically: your result, from my address, so you have a copy. That is the only automatic email on this site. There is no sequence behind it, no newsletter, and no mailing list you have been added to. Anything else you ever receive from me is written by hand.
Who else touches it
I am one person, so I use ordinary services to run this. Your details pass through:
- Formspree, which receives the forms on this site and emails them to me.
- Google, for the application form and the spreadsheet it feeds, for my email, and for the small Google script that records quiz answers and sends the result email. Google Fonts also serves the typefaces on this site, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, in the same way it does on a great many websites.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site. Like any web host it keeps standard server records of requests.
- ImprovMX, which forwards mail sent to my aaron@ address into my inbox.
Each of these has its own privacy terms. I do not give your details to anyone else, and I do not sell them.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, and there is no analytics or advertising pixel on it. No Meta pixel, no Google Analytics, nothing following you to other sites.
The one thing stored in your browser is the campaign tag from the link you arrived on, kept in what is called session storage so it still exists if you move from the home page to the quiz. It stays on your own device, it is not readable by anyone else, and it disappears when you close the tab.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries and applications while I am considering them, and for as long as we are working together or might. I do not have a policy of holding things forever, and if you ask me to delete your details I will delete them.
What you can ask me for
You can ask me to tell you what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can ask me to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live you may also have a formal right to those things, and I will honour them either way.
The way to do any of that is simply to email me. There is no form and no process. I will do it.
Children
This coaching is for adults. The site is not intended for anyone under sixteen, and I do not knowingly collect their details.
